The market is currently well supplied with non-GM soybean products, and most European producers of non-GM soybean products are offering both spot deliveries and longer-term contracts. AdamPol Soya’s crushing plant in Ukraine has been operating as normal throughout the period since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the movement of non-GM products between its crushing plant and its terminal in Poland has not been impeded.
AdamPol Soya currently has above-average stock levels, primarily due to a reduction in purchases of non-GM soybean products by the compound feed industry compared with previous years. European-grown soybeans currently supply the majority of estimated European demand for non-GM soybean meal of around 4 million tonnes per annum. Ukraine is easily able to make up for any future reduction in the supply of non-GM soybeans and soybean products from Brazil, as only one quarter of Ukraine's soybean harvest is currently sold into the non-GM market.
 
AdamPol Soya is the soybean crushing business of ATK Group, a privately-owned Ukrainian agribusiness group with 80,000 hectares of farming, seven elevators with 500,000 tonnes of storage capacity, an oilseed crushing plant in western Ukraine with around 400,000 tonnes of throughput capacity.

The coverage from BAG with European non-GM soybeans is safe for the current crop and beyond. Therefore, BAG continues to be a reliable supplier of soybean meal and soybean oil with or without Donau Soja label. The forecasts of soybean acreage for crop 2022 is up to 30% plus in some EU countries. As the availability of non-GM soybeans is ensured, BAG is offering old and new crop contracts with an optimistic view on the upcoming years.
