At ENGA we are gearing up for the next stage in the process of the legislation on New Genomic Techniques that the European Commission launched in July. With its lowering, or even abolishing, of the current food safety and transparency standards for NGTs it was as bad as expected.

The good news is that there is still time to - as the Non-GMO food sector - raise our voices and have our say in this vital piece of legislation.
